Dordogne Vase

A superb glazed brick-coloured terracotta oil vase dating from the late 18th century. Coming from the Dordogne region, this vase is beautifully decorated with technically refined ornaments. There are three handles and a pouring spout. Originally used for storing oil, today it is a delightful collector's piece. France, late 18th century.
