Pair of monumental showcases

Rare and splendid pair of monumental showcases/libraries salvaged in the Paris area. The upper parts feature a very tall compartment with shelves closed by original glass doors while the lower parts feature a compartment closed by two panelled doors. The front and side parts date from the mid-19th century while the backs were restored more recently. Wonderful original patina, both have blown glass of the period. France, 19th century.
